Places Where Adventure Might Unfold

Walter, 16, Tallahassee, FL

A. An epic mossy stone bridge, in a period of ruin and decay, spanning the gap of a seemingly bottomless chasm, with steep cliffs spanning the sides with wild greenery entangled along the sides and multiple roaring waterfalls gushing down.

B. A burning desert with the ancient ruins of what seems to once have been a temple scattered among a lush oasis dotted with tropical plant life, and a seemingly silver mist glinting over the area causing strange shadows and pockets of light.

C. Near an active volcano with smoke billowing into the sky and ash gently falling to the ground lies molten lava flowing across the barren obsidian landscape with wilting brush scattered along the ground.

D. A frozen tundra with horizon stretching on to near infinity with a sparse scattering of hills of ice and snow with the occasional giant clumps of trees, a bitter wind howling across the plain, kicking up snow into mystical patterns.

E. A gaping cavern lying far beneath the surface, dimly lit only by glowing fungus with elegant, yet dangerous stalagmites and stalactites spread around the cave, as well as crystal clear pools of acidic water throughout.
